The top-performing school principal and teacher in Myanmar will be invited to join the Edunova Reading Masters (Global) 2025 for free in Da Nang, Vietnam - joining outstanding educators from across the region.

Competition Overview

Local Round

• Reading Challenge Start Date: July 1, 2025

• Final Exam Date: September 27, 2025

• Platform: online.foxtonreaders.com

• Format:

  • Students will read 5 selected leveled storybooks on the Foxton platform.

  • A final exam (50 multiple choice questions) will test story comprehension.

  • 30% of the final score comes from platform performance: reading time, quiz results, vocabulary & comprehension scores.

Competition Categories

Prizes (Per Category)

• 1st Prize - 500,000 MMK

• 2nd Prize - 300,000 MMK

• 3rd Prize - 200,000 MMK

• 4th & 5th Place - 100,000 MMK each

Teacher Award:
The teacher whose students achieve the highest class average score across all categories will be invited to the Global Round in Da Nang,Vietnam.

Principal Award:
The school leader with the highest school-wide average score will also be invited to Da Nang, Vietnam for the Global event.

Participation Criteria

• Minimum students per class: 12

• Minimum students per school: 30

• Each participant must have an active Foxton Readers account.

Reading Challenge Start Date: October 15, 2025
Deadline: December 15, 2025
Competition Dates: January 24--25, 2026
Platform: Foxton Readers (www.foxtonreaders.com)
Location: Da Nang, Vietnam

Medals Distribution:
* 15% Gold
* 35% Silver
* 50% Bronze

Format:
Students will read five selected leveled storybooks through the Foxton platform. At the end of the
challenge, they will sit for a final exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions based on the
assigned stories. The second challenge will be to write a one-page essay (250--300 words) on a
topic derived from one of the books. The books will be the same as those used in the local
rounds.
