These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of online.foxtonreaders.com (the “Foxton Readers”), an online ELT (English Language Teaching) graded readers platform which aims to support ELT lessons at schools or educational institutions. This website is owned and operated by Foxton Books Ltd.

If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.
In these terms and conditions, User or Users means any third party that accesses the Website and is not either (i) employed by Foxton Books Ltd and acting in the course of their employment or (ii) engaged as a consultant or otherwise providing services to Foxton Books Ltd and accessing the Website in connection with the provision of such services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users, regardless of whether a licence to access the Site has been purchased by a school / educational institution on behalf of students and teachers, or directly by a student or parent. In the case of students who are minors, permission must be sought by that student’s school or parent / guardian (as applicable) before that student is provided with access to the Site.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to revise, amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time effective on the date of posting to the Site of the new and amended provisions.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
All Content included on the Website, unless uploaded by Users, is the property of Foxton Books Ltd, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. In these terms and conditions, Content means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this Website, including any such content uploaded by Users.
By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such Content is protected by copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights. Nothing on this site shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark, logo or service mark displayed on the site without the owner's prior written permission.

Registration
You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provide when registering by updating your personal details to ensure we can communicate with you effectively.
We may suspend or cancel your registration with immediate effect for any reasonable purposes or if you breach these terms and conditions.
You may cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing to the address at the end of these terms and conditions. If you do so, you must immediately stop using the Website. Cancellation or suspension of your registration does not affect any statutory rights.
Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial which begins when users register for a new account. The free trial includes unlimited access to all the features available on our site. The number of books that can be accessed is limited though.
We do not ask you for a payment or a credit/debit card for your free trial. Nor do we ask you for any financial commitment during the trial period. Therefore, when your free trial ends, you will not be liable to any payment.
Subscription
When you decide to take out a paid subscription to the Foxton Readers, you automatically agree to our subscription terms.
Subscription licenses are for schools and educational institutions. Public organisations such as local or national education bodies can also buy subscriptions licences.
A subscription licence is exclusive to the school/organisation buying the licence and cannot be transferred to any individual or organisation. Your named primary contact confirms that they have the authority to act on behalf of your school or organisation.
We may offer different methods of buying subscription licences. For instance, a school or organisation may purchase a licence by directly visiting our website and paying by their credit/debit card. They may also be able to send us a purchase order in order to pay for their licence via other forms of payment (e.g. bank transfer). All subscription fees must be paid in pounds sterling.
We may also allow paid subscriptions to be taken out via resellers. However, we are not bound by any disputes that may arise between buyers and the reseller.
Renewal
We offer a fixed 12-month subscription option, which does not renew automatically. However, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance of the expiry date of your subscription.
Cancellation and Refunds
We would love to see you and your students benefitting from our website for a long time, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. However, if you cancel no refund will be given.
You can notify us of your cancellation request by email at info@foxtonbooks.co.uk.
When you decide to cancel your subscription, you also give us the authority to remove all data related to your students from our website. However, when you need to subscribe again, you will need to set up your school from scratch as we will have deleted your school’s data.
Payment
When you pay for your subscription by a credit/debit card, payment is processed immediately and you have instant access to the website. When you send us a purchase order, we offer you 28 days of payment terms to pay for your subscription. Once we have received the payment, we email you the access information.
Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which is expressly incorporated herein. Before using the Site, please carefully review our Privacy Policy. All personal information provided to us as a result of your access will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and by accessing the Site, or allowing your child/student to access the Site, you consent to the collection, storage, use and dissemination of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us and our directors, officers, agents, employees and contractors and keep us and all of them indemnified, against all loss, actions, proceedings, costs, expenses (including legal fees), claims and damages arising from any breach by you of the Terms and Conditions, or reliance by you on any information obtained through the Site or your access to the Site.
Availability of the Website and disclaimers
Any online facilities, tools, services or information that Foxton Books Ltd makes available through the Website (the Service) is provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis. We give no warranty that the Service will be free of defects and/or faults. To the maximum extent permitted by the law, we provide no warranties (express or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality. Foxton Books Ltd is under no obligation to update information on the Website.
Whilst Foxton Books Ltd uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website is secure and free of errors, viruses and other malware, we give no warranty or guaranty in that regard and all Users take responsibility for their own security, that of their personal details and their computers.
